Privacy policy

Flare is run by a private team. This page says what the clip server keeps and why.

What we keep

When you sign in we keep your name and profile picture, and, if you sign in with Google, your e-mail address. We use the address only to check that you were invited. We do not see or keep your Google or Discord password.

Your clips

Clips you do not share never leave your PC. A clip you share is stored on this server with its title, the game it was recorded in, and who it is shared with. Anyone with the link can watch it. Shared clips are removed after 90 days unless you pin them, and you can stop sharing at any time.

What we do not do

We do not sell data, show ads or track you across sites. Nothing is sent to anyone else, except that signing in goes through Discord or Google.

Deleting your data

Ask the team admin who invited you, and your account and its clips will be deleted.
